Sized to the IBJJF rules, so they're competition-legal
The IBJJF defines exactly where patches can go on a competition gi and how big they can be — the back below the collar, the chest, the pant legs, and specific zones on the jacket skirt and sleeves. Patches outside those zones, or oversized ones, can get flagged at weigh-in.
Tell us where the patch is going and we'll size it to stay legal for that zone. Competing isn't mandatory, but building to the rules means your members never have to seam-rip a patch the night before a tournament.
Sew-on, because glue-on gets you DQ'd
The IBJJF requires patches to be sewn, not glued or ironed — heat-seal adhesive fails in the wash and isn't competition-legal. We default gi patches to a sew-on backing with a clean merrowed edge that holds up to hard rolls and repeated washing.
Built for academies and teams
Most gyms run a patch program: every new student gets the academy patch, and competition team members get a team set. Order in bulk for a per-patch discount, and reorder anytime as new cohorts come in — your digitized design is kept on file, no repeat setup fee.
